DMCA Policy
TechFomo respects the intellectual property rights of creators, authors, photographers, and publishers. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (Title 17, United States Code, Section 512), we respond expeditiously to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement.
1. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content published on TechFomo infringes your copyrighted work, please submit a written notification containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL on TechFomo where the material is located.
- Your contact information, including physical address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Designated DMCA Agent
Send all formal copyright infringement claims to our Designated Copyright Agent via our contact form with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request”.
3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification to our designated agent pursuant to Sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, TechFomo maintains a policy of terminating access, subscriptions, or publication privileges of users or contributors who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
